Chingford Rugby Club played host to a fun and exciting touch rugby event tonight, organized by players looking to blow off some steam after a hard-fought season. The event was also seen as a way to prepare for the upcoming season and welcome back some familiar faces who had been away from the club for a while.
The event saw players competing in a friendly and relaxed environment. With no contact allowed, players were able to showcase their ball-handling and passing skills, as well as their speed and agility. There were plenty of laughs and smiles on display as players enjoyed the chance to take part in some non-competitive rugby.
The event was organized by a group of players who felt that a fun touch rugby event would be the perfect way to wind down after a grueling season. Many players had faced tough opposition in the league, and the event provided a much-needed break from the intensity of competitive rugby.
The touch rugby event also provided an opportunity for players who had been away from the club for a while to reconnect with their former teammates. Some players who had not been seen at the club for a number of years were spotted putting there boots on, with many expressing their interest in returning to play for the club in the upcoming season.
We want to express our sincere appreciation to all the new young players who attended, We hope that you had a great time at the event and that it has inspired you to keep playing rugby. We would love to have you sign up and play with us next season, as we are always on the lookout for new talent to join our team.
The event was a great success, with everyone who took part thoroughly enjoying themselves. As the sun began to set and the matches came to a close, players gathered around the clubhouse to enjoy some pizza and beers and reflect on the day's events. Many were already looking forward to the upcoming pre-season training, which I can assure you will contain alot more touch to get that cardio in ready for next season.
Overall, the touch rugby event at Chingford Rugby Club was a great way to celebrate the end of a hard-fought season and to prepare for the challenges ahead. It was a testament to the camaraderie and spirit of the rugby club, and a reminder of why we love the sport so much.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Josh Jordan and Bill Rabey for cooking the delicious wood-fired pizza at our recent event. Your dedication, hard work, and culinary expertise truly made the event a success.
Thank you once again for your participation in our touch rugby event. We hope to see you back on the field soon, and we look forward to the opportunity to play alongside you again in the future.
